Certificate III in Concreting (CPC30320)
In our Concreting course, an emphasis is placed on providing hands on, practical training wherever possible and will develop the skills and knowledge you need to have a successful career as a Concretor in the domestic housing industry or commercial construction area.

This course will develop the skills and knowledge you need to have a successful career in the building and construction as a concreter. There is high demand for concreters in the building industry and we want to provide you with the most comprehensive training in all practical and theoretical aspects of the trade. The training is provided to our students by teachers that qualified tradesman themselves and still maintain industry currency by working with other contractors or running their own subcontracting businesses.
The qualification requires the successful completion of 20 units of competency which includes 17 core and 5 electives. The units of competency currently shown in the table below indicate a possible direction. The units may change during the pre-training interview to better suit the type of work you undertake.

On successful completion of this course students will receive the qualification CPC30320 Certificate III in Concreting which is a nationally recognised qualification within Australia.
Students who do not fully complete the qualification but who are successful in completing a number of the units of competency will receive a statement of attainment for those units.
Employment Option
A person having successfully completed CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry may seek employment undertaking the following tasks:
• Concreter
• Concrete tilt panel fabricator
Education Pathway
After achieving the CPC30320 Certificate III in Concreting, candidates may be eligible to undertake the CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) or the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building).
